Our Mission
The Southern Adirondack Recovery Alliance, (SARA), will guide the development of programs and services through its mission to provide and promote a range of recovery and support services with individuals, families, and communities resulting in greater knowledge, experience, and celebration of sustained recovery.
Our Vision
Long term, SARA envisions treatment, recovery, and recovery support services as an evolving community of resources that ensure individuals and families know the hope of recovery, and that the collective wisdom of those with lived experience safe guards that none shall suffer alone.
Our Values
Are to form the foundation upon which a range of emotional, informational, and social supports will be designed to be responsive to a variety of needs experienced by the people who are on a continuum from the contemplation to long-sustained recovery. These values are:
